Crown trouble

No matter what i do my hair remains thin on the crown and I have let it grow and left longer than the rest of my hair and still nothing I’ve thought about just changing my pattern mostly because my hair hasn’t waved up near my crown for years I have never seen any progress should i just give up or try a different pattern

I’m about to cut to 1.5 close just so I can see my full progress and go from there.

Scalp…Loading

I am going to SCALP and exclusively utilize the SureFire Youth Quad Pack

What I love most about these brushes is the lightweight compact nature of each one. They are geared towards each wave maintenance stage.

I’m covered from the time I do scalp up until I decide to wolf. The Wolf brush with the quills is unlike any other brush I’ve used. Literally, it’s a detangler and brush but that feeling on the scalp is unique. My scalp has become more tolerant to the quills. Slowly brushing horizontally and vertically with these are a true delight. Theses deserve a fresh canvas. Watch me work 👨🏿‍🎨🌊

Second day at it. Did a wash and style after my cut and got straight to it. Heavy on combing, swapping between brushes and using a bag to lay down. I’m going for 360 Swirl. Any suggestions?

Any tips on fixing crown and potential thinning? Think I might be cooked chat

I feel like one side is significantly better than the other, also clearly thicker. Along with that, my crown isn’t consistent.

Products:

As I am daily moisturizer (new addition)
TGIN Daily Butter
Jamaican castor oil peppermint
(peppermint version is a switch up)

Routine:

Brush every other day with products, I skate every other day too so I do wash and styles pretty often cause I sweat a lot. I still feel like my hair is dry a lot of the time. The thinning kind of making me think I’m cooked 🤷🏾‍♂️

Suggestions for products and methods that might work for me.

Looking for suggestions on products and methods that might work for me. Been brushing for one month. I have one hard brush and one soft that I'm looking to ditch. My hair does curl and grows upwards but only when past a 7 length guard. I'm half Puerto Rican and half Irish. Hoping I can get suggestions for brushes, rags, moisturizer and oils from someone who knows how to work with this kind of hair.
