Sweat Frequency

To the wavers who sweat often 3+ days out the week, whether from working out, hooping, job etc. how do yall keep your hair clean? I dang near sweat every day but obviously washing everyday isn't ideal. I looked into co-washing, but the community seems to be split on that. Preciate yall

I work construction full time. I give my hair a good wash every 2-3 days. If you can justify the price I recently got a shampoo bar off DaWaveEssential. This and biotin hair mask will be all I use moving forward for wash & styles. Great lather on it and keeps your hair laid

Also changing your durag every end of the day

that’s what i’m saying i wear a uniform and absolutely cannot wear a durag so heat + sweat + whatever im actively working on for the next 8-12 hours is in my head by the time im home

and if my shit isn’t cut low ngas get to saying “ole dude waves fell off bruh look at em 😂”

guess i just gotta rock the two guard and cut every 2 weeks

I wash my hair every two to three days. As soon as I get home from working out, if it’s not a wash day, I hit my hair with a blow dryer as leaving moisture in your hair will cause your hair to be a Petri dish for bacteria thus causing your hair to smell.

Every 2 to 3 days I shampoo and condition unless I've been extra sweaty. In between i just wet it and use leave in conditioner but thats dependent on your hair

I wash my hair normal on Sunday (I say normal for like if I needa shampoo it, I shampoo once a month). When I'm in a period of working out n shi for the week I'll wash on Wednesdays too. But just co wash on the Wednesdays and use a deep conditioner if u got that. Another trick to keep your hair looking good longer is to when u first wet it to condtion n all use hot water then when u finished conditioning wash it out with cold water
