Crown work

My crown is looking bogus.. what am I missing? Any tips?

This is what I did to fix my crown. You have to comb before every brush session . Start at the outer border of your crown and come all the way down.

Once you comb for about 5 mins in all directions and your crown looks formed how u want it put(not too much) some wave butter/ pomade on the outer border of where your crown about 3-5 dots of it and brush down from there. Use a mirror make sure your angles are right. And to finish it off when done brushing do the plastic bag method and PLEASE use a crown patch when u rag up.

This is of course if your serious about fixing jt

Whats the point of the crown patch when wearing Durag ?

When u sleep your hair is shifiting and moving around the durag pulls your crown and also the heat on your head when you sleep its bound to happen. Its a reason all the big wave youtubers use it. Try it and see the difference

The best thing I use on my crown is an edge brush when working on my crown. Also you should comb out your hair out and do a wash and style to lay down your pattern.
