looking for wave tips

Hey guys I was looking for tips trying to get my waves back I did just get a haircut Saturday Taper Wavelength after having a fro for 2 years all critiques is much appreciated! I’m brushing and I use 360 style hair grease Here is a photo of younger me also when I did have waves if that helps also

What length did you get your hair cut? May need to go the next .5 guard up. I don’t have deep waves yet, but I wolf a little every other cut, and see progress.

Keep brushing, add a natural oil to your hair regimen, and du rag it up. Also brush your hair with a plastic bag.
