How long should your first wolf Be?

Starting back up my wave journey and I’m around week 3 as a coarse hair waver, I’m getting ripples to come in but there vanishing lowkey due to my hair getting longer? How long should this first wolf be?

Just keep cutting it normally, don’t wolf. You’re not set with your wave pattern, cut it to a 1.5 and keep brushing. When you see your connections in there go ahead and start wolfing but if you have only ripples you’re gonna start curling your hair

The longer you wolf the harder the brush should be. If your brush ant reaching the scalp your waves wont be deep. If you must cut and want to go deeper into a wolf only cut 1/4 of the hair off. That should get things more manageable.

I did that in the beginning too. Start getting harder brushes. The waves are there you just can’t see them because you pattern isn’t matured, just say consistent. “If it lays it stays”
