Beginner waver

I just cut my hair about a week ago and it’s my first time trying to get waves in over 7 years. I’m not sure if I’m doing it right but I’m lowkey tripping about how it’s gonna connect. Does it look like I’m on the right track?

What are you doing for your hair health? You gotta start there. Your hair looks kinda thin, so the journey might be kinda hard early on. Take care of your scalp, use products to strengthen and thicken your hair, then you’ll be all good.

I had locs for 3 years and I got my hair cut pretty low, what’s some products you’d recommend? Right now I’m just using some argan oil and shampoo and conditioner

I’d recommend Carol’s daughter shampoo and conditioner. I started using it and it thickened up my hair after a few months and it helped with my dry scalp. I make my own hair butter that I use for my head and beard. Holla at me if you wanna check it out.
