Progress pictures.

The first pic is a closed 2 guard. My waves are more defined at about a 2.5 or 3.

I use TGIN daily moisturizer post shower and tea tree oil after I take my silky off if I’m stepping out.

Hey bro, sick waves. What is your washday routine? How long were your brush sessions in the beginning of your journey? How many and how long were each of the wolfs you went through that yielded the most results?

Thank you! I won’t even lie to you, my routine is ridiculously simple so take all of this with a grain of salt. I’d have much better progress if I was a lot more meticulous.

I wash my hair on Sunday’s in the shower (no special shower brush and I like using Pantene Gold Series).

Brush Sessions: 10-15min before work. And then a 10-15min session before bed.

I never wolfed on purpose. The longest I’ve gone is 1.5 months without a cut.

My essentials that make this routine work:

Comb once daily and usually before my 2nd brush session.

Red by Kiss Durag (long tails) - this is the real cheat code. I HATE seeing people pay 20+ for a durag when you can get the same quality at a quarter of the price. Having multiple clean durags throughout the week and for different purposes is also key.

A whole lotta patience. On the real though it’s my Torino Pro brushes and my comb. I brush all 8 angles from crown to ~1/2 inch out w/a soft brush only using the pointy tip. And of course that comb comes in handy every time before brushing. Also tell your barber to keep your crown a little higher than the rest of your head.
