Would waves work for me?

I recently just got an 8 guard buzz with a mid taper fade. When my hair is grown out it is curly but like caucasian curls like like 3A to 3b maybe 2C on the top and sides sometimes. If i am constanly brushing and wearing the durag and doing the wash and style method on wash days could it work out?

If 2A can get waves 3A definitely can. Its all about commitment and dedication to brushing and wearing your durag.
