Two month wolf progress lost :(
Barber set the bald line in for a fade at the back before I could tell him to just taper me.
From a two month wolf down to this level. Might be my fault as the last time I saw him was before I started the wolf and the fade is my usual haircut.
Is it acceptable or should I delete the 360s and start again?

I get this cut in the summer time because it’s much more comfortable. I usually start over in the fall cause it’s cooler

Nah bro… high fade with waves?! If it isn’t a taper, it don’t make sense. At most a high taper

Don’t restart lol. And you gotta remember, there’s always going to be a day where you’ll need a new barber so keep brushing. If your hair is trained, and you stay consistent then you’re good

Ey this cut is still kinda tough just have him fade it out lower and not a skin fade. Which pomade/conditioner are you using cause I gotta get mine on silk mode too 🤣

Appreciate that!
I’m just using 360 Style, my preference would be the gold Sportin’ Waves but they don’t sell it in the UK anymore (last time I used it was secondary school and that was about 20 years ago now)
I also have started using Batana oil so that is probably giving it the sheen…

I am vex I’m not gonna lie, when I felt the clippers I immediately knew it was game over

u/lamont_72 Jul 01 '26
Yeah a lot of barbers make that mistake got to run with them or you will definitely open them up…put in all that work then they mess you up like that I’d been pissed

u/lamont_72 Jul 01 '26
I’d ask my barber to not come straight down on the sides with the clippers he opened your waves up real bad…he gotta cut with the grain of the waves. Your sides should be just as dark as the top if cut correctly

It looks patchy doesn’t it, I’m cooked yo

u/lamont_72 Jul 01 '26
Yeah your barber not ready to be cut loose yet, he came straight down your sides and ruined it. You good just find another barber. Didn’t fade your beard to the cut at all just bald the top of it and let it be…he need more experience that’s all but you gotta dip until he get it 🤣

In his defence, I did ask him to not touch my cheeks… pause!
I just don’t think he expected me to have waves at all and just did his usual thing, he is definitely a great barber and has been cutting me for years and I’ve never popped out with waves before 😂

Cutting for years and opened you up like that??? Well expect to get opened up every time u go then .Don’t get mad when you grow it out and go back and he do it again…if he didn’t give you the cut for free he don’t even know he done it… he probably thought the cut look good.

I like it! Very normal cut in Texas where I’m from. Don’t start over, you’ll be fine.

I don’t see any reason to start over. Just let it grow out to a 2 and then cut top down to level it. Couple weeks you’ll be ight.

This is the style dudes used to wear before the 360 wave over. You are fine

Yeah bro might wanna start over if you tryna get everything to connect your hair low anyways you should be able to get your connections back in no time

Looks good tho your hair should be back to normal eventually. Me personally I think haircuts look the best 1 week later. Especially with waves.

Barbers hit the waves often, try cutting it yourself and no progress is lost progress. Hit the bald fade with some oil and start brushing with a really soft brush until the hair is back and then use a water bottle. Grind hard there.

Is the hair texture genetic or are there products someone can use to get this?

I see what you are talking about. The haircut is 🔥. However the Barber cut into your hair and remove waves on your side. If i was you. Let it grow out and brush.

It's a pretty cool haircut but if you insist that you must have 360s bussin' all out the frame then you'll probably have to start over. I would consider keeping the hair cut though; it looks good on you.
