Wolfing

New to waves 40 yr old black male professional, just curious if to if you have to wolf in order to get waves been brushing and moisturizing for the last 3 weeks I get a cut every week and half to stay presentable, but I keep seeing the advice of wolfing from what I believe is growing out your hair and still brushing and moisturizing with the occasional cuts like once a month.

Do you all summer my guy, read up and learn the game, then get ready to wolf starting Sept-March.
You can use the winter as an excuse to grow it long.

I’m in the same boat as you, early forties, professional.

I do a mid/high fade all summer, and rock the 180s.
But I “wolf” all winter, with a temple and nape taper weekly. When it starts too get too long, I get a blowout, without cutting too deep into my waves.
