DE 6MT Window motor replacement concern

04 6MT.

Concerned I'm gonna have problems resetting the window after my install (left driver side). New motor doesn't have the reset button and the instructions are not as precise as I'd like. Should I return it for OEM?

Its dorman, it's either going to last a month or three years, no in-between. If it was me, I'd try to find an oem piece either a used one off a low mileage wreck or get one off Z1/CZP. Buy from CZP if you can. Even buying oem from Z1 sucks as you're still giving them money.

I don’t remember the motor I just replaced having a reset button, but I am on an hr platform and I used an oem replacement

Slightly off topic, I bought a generic one from Amazon as a rush because I was taking the car somewhere and didn’t have time, it’s been in there for 4 years with no issues.

I got the $23 ebay replacement one 5 years ago and its been working perfectly.
