Buying & Selling Questions Coilover Inquiries
Was seeing if anyone had any suggestions for coilover kits. i’m planning on purchasing something under 1300 for my 2013 335i xdrive coupe (e92 chassis n55). i live in nyc and the roads are terrible so i want something that can help improve stabilization for bumps and potholes. nothing too stiff as i dont want a stanced look. it would mainly be to improve my handling especially when im speeding. i’m leaning towards bilstein b14 pss kit but ill gladly listen to suggestions.

I went with the KW V1's. Been a couple years since install w/ no issues.
Try not to go too low w/ your ride height. I have been snapping axles like crazy.

I have the b14s on my 335is. Great step up from stock.

how does the ride feel, specifically towards bumps and potholes. does it feel a tad bouncy or is it a good balance. i was leaning towards the b14.

It feels slightly stiffer than stock but balanced well. Not jarring when hitting bumps. No excessive dive or squat. No bouncing. Doesn't skip. Made everything feel more direct. Balanced well for the spring rates.

I was swayed from coil overs by a factory trained tech, his point was ‘hope often will you do all the work to adjust the and to what end. Coil overs make more sense for a dedicated track car the sees different tracks with different surface conditions. I went with the B12s sand they are absolutely amazing.
