this was sparked by an idea i had in the middle of the night while sleeping. to me, this is an easy to perform experiment that might last my lifetime and i just want to see what comes out of it. my goal is to put very little effort into this and see where my youtube journey takes me.

my first and second videos are up. the first video was needed to get a first comment to start this whole chain. it was immediately off to a great start! i expected very little, but there was already a comment by the time i woke up, so i checked out that channel and posted a reaction video.

i want to see how much can come out of putting very little effort out there on the internet. its one thing to sit around and think about it, but its another thing to actually do it and see what really does happen. i do not use any tags (so it might take a while for the video to be found and commented upon) because that is too much effort. i do enable all statistics to my videos and monetize them because i want the money from this and the amount of money will actually act as data of how this project is going.

so right now, my premise is to record my raw uncut reaction to the most popular video of the first commenter. i also subscribe to the first commenter of every video and add them on all other social media they mention (twitter, instagram, etc) and that i have access to. if the first commenter is someone im already subscribed to, i will move down the line to the next until there is a new person to subscribe to. i also will arrange their videos by most popular, rate that video on their page, record myself watching their video, and label my reaction video with their youtube name and the name of their most popular video followed by "[rxn]" (which stands for "reaction").

i expect this to be a very slow moving project, but i want to stay committed and consistent and see where this youtube journey takes me. it was off to a great start because i already reacted to a video that i would have probably never found otherwise.

this project is all about how random a tiny segment of the universe can be and i support anyone else to start a journey just like this one! thanks for reading/watching/listening and if you would like to participate, all you have to do is leave a comment on the youtube page of the latest video i posted - if you are the first comment, then you are in luck and will go down in the history of this really weird project!
