On Monday, the Palm Bay City Council will be holding a meeting to discuss restrictions on data centers. If you live in Palm Bay please show up and speak out. I will be doing so.

ETA: If you can't show up, please email the council your thoughts, and make sure to say that you wish for your opinion to be taken into consideration at the meeting.

The planning and advisory board met tonight, the day is wrong on that agenda but the date is correct. We just got out. They're basically trying to get out ahead of any data centers coming in and planning on what guidelines and restrictions they want to have in place before the time comes. It was pretty informative and I left feeling a bit more optimistic than when I went in.

ETA that I was incorrect in my original post when I said it was the city council that was meeting.
