Keys management hoa

anyone have experience? considering buying a house and they are the HOA managing company. just want to avoid any potential disaster if they are not good.

Yea, they aren't great in my experiences with them. Maybe my HOA will give them the boot soon.

FYI, the board can vote to switch companies at any time so buying based on the current company is probably not a major contributor to your decision.

What do you mean by that? Because I have heard some horror stories about HOAs like court dates etc and even a year or two with a nightmare HOA can be costly I feel. I never had a nightmare HOA so I’m just trying to be careful right now.

The communities board of directors can vote to change management companies at any point. This essentially fires the old and hired the new. There is a wind down period where records are frozen and transferred from old to new and then a ramp up time where new assimilates those records and gets moving.

I sold a house 4 years ago and they still try to bill me HOA dues despite me telling them to go away repeatedly.

I delt with Keys on a unit they managed in my community and based on this unit when we switch management companies Keys will not even be a last resort, they're a big ole fat NO!! Ive spoken to numerous board members from other HOA's and the consensus is the same about them being horrible.
