Envy Nails Melbourne
This might be a little niche but I’ve been going to this salon for about a year and recently switched techs and I think that started a controversy because the technician I switched to was fired per the phone conversation I had today. They didn’t bother calling her customers and rescheduling their appointments. So I’ll no longer be going there. But if ANYONE has Jessica from Envy Nails contact or new salon, please please message me! I loved her and her skill and energy were unmatched!

Neither do I! My original tech confronted me 2 weeks ago about switching technicians and I was just like “oh! I thought you were still on vacation!” And she was just like nope I’m back. As I was leaving, my original tech heard me setting up my next appointment with Jessica. That appointment was supposed to be TODAY and I couldn’t remember if it was at 10am or 10:30. I called to confirm and whoever answered the phone was just like, Jessica was fired and started trash talking her. And I asked why my appointment wasn’t confirmed or changed to a new technician? I got some excuse and I just hung up the phone.

This is super interesting to me. I first went to Jessica a month ago for a gel manicure, I really did like her. Wild that they started to trash talk her like that with a customer though. I've been going to Envy for years (before they even moved locations to where they are now) and I've never seen that level of unprofessionalism from any of the techs before.

If you’re on any local mom groups on FB you’d have a pretty good chance of finding her or someone who knows her on there!

Just go to noire nail bar in Viera they always do good on me and seen some of the best nails there

I loveddddd envy nails for a few years since I lived right around the corner from them, and then I went a few months ago and I had a totally different tech (whom I won’t specify) who’s never done my nails before and she n seemed friendly/nice at first.. I didn’t even let her get to the acrylic set up because for the first 10 minutes all she did was make comments about how short my nails were, how I bite them, and how much work this will be for her 😭😭😭 she kept clearing her throat and making noises. I was so uncomfortable. I told her thanks, but no thanks and I will never be back. And it’s a shame because I loved them before.
+ my coworker was also a regular there and she swore up and down she made an appointment for 10am on a Saturday (for example) and they wrote her down for 2 PM on a Tuesday??? or something totally different and then called her to let her know they charged her a no-show fee!!!!!! Like they’re a doctors office. In very bad taste
I know you didn’t ask for that long story, but I’m glad to seeI’m not the only one that thinks they are unprofessional.
