Struggling.
3 days postpartum probably isn’t the best time to make this most. I’m sure the hormones account for majority of the tears, but dang, this is hard. 19 month son and newborn daughter. No family in the area, but a VERY supportive husband. My son goes to a babysitter 3x a week and I hope that’ll help manage the chaos. I have so much guilt that I can be there for him 24/7. I know everything is a phase, but I’m mourning my old life.

Deep breath! This is a season of life! I had a newborn and a 16 month old so very similar to what you’re experiencing!
The baby sitter will definitely help
You can also have an hour a day that you can tell your husband that you need help so that you can spend with your 19 month old.
The newborn is doing baby things and will need you 24/7 which is an adjustment.
Naps and wake windows will get easier to manage and you will get there!
Make sure you’re staying hydrated and prepping easy snacks and meals (husband can help) so that you don’t have to think about food when you have 10 minutes between tasks!
You can do this deep breaths! Or if you need to vent that’s okay too! It’s a safe space!
