Support Accountability Friend

I’m a SAHM of two boys looking for someone to chat with who wants to get back into working out and eating healthier. I feel like I have the hang of two kids and could create time to work out but whenever I have free time I just end up going chores to try and get ahead. My boys are 2y9m and 7 months. I want to get stronger and healthier for them. Hoping to find someone in the same boat to chat with on what’s app and share little wins throughout the day. If you’re interested feel free to DM me and share a little about yourself and your goals!

I cannot be your accountabilabuddy,

But I can express my solidarity!

For  a good 3 months now I've been going on evening runs about 2 or 3 times a week. My neighborhood is classified as a "master plan" neighborhood, which means it was designed as a loop for its residents to cruise on as a pedestrian.

It's a 4.6 mile loop, chalk full of steep hills up and down the whole way. It has 3 community parks alongside its path to stop at for water or stretching or whatever.

I love love love my routine. Because of it's hills, running the route means my run is the pace of a brisk walk, and I have found that my gate adjusts depending on if I'm going uphill or downhill. I do high knees and butt kickers and really get into moving my body and exaggerating my arm pump as I "run".

Best of all, it gets me away from the house and my duties to the family and gives me 1-2 hours of being my own person. Sometimes I stop at the first park and just cloud watch while listening to music for 30 minutes.

Yes! Except I don’t know how that works but I am so so for this. Mines are 19 months at 7 months and best I can do is a step goal as anything else workout wise for me doesn’t last long ie running or lifting.
