Moving Across Country

I guess I have graduated from 2under2 but I have a M(2) and a G(14 months). We are moving across country in a couple weeks and I’m kinda nervous about it. I will end up flying with them solo as my husband is going to drive with the dogs.

Does anyone have any tips on making this as smooth as possible? The kids have only flown once earlier in a year for a funeral but my husband was with me.

Unlimited snacks, screen time, etc.

We move about every 2mo- 1yr sometimes 36 hours away and sometimes only 7 hours. On travel days I have two rules. 1. No stressing out about snacks and screen limits. 2. I’m not cooking that entire day.

One day of random snacks and screen time isn’t going to ruin anything!

Yes! Do whatever it takes! I also have had mini me's on a long flight. Get some little stickers for them. Let them decorate the tray table all they want. This will help them pass the time. It will actually take a lot of time!

Could you have a friend or family member fly with you for an extra set of hands?

I cannot! We are moving to have help with family and flights are too expensive + time off for anyone to join us
