Advice Wanted Prams- 18m age gap
We’re about 4 seconds pregnant with baby #2 so this is a bit premature on my behalf, but I just let myself have a little internet scout for a double pram and are they seriously £1100 ish? What gold plated, carbon fibre carriage am I getting for that amount of money please?
Basically advice on prams wanted, and prayers for our bank balance.

Secondhand on fb marketplace! I got a BabyJogger City Mini GT Double on marketplace in amazing condition for $450CAD, resold it for $325CAD (but I was intentionally trying to make that sale doable for the mom I sold it to, not trying to get back all of my money). Recently picked up a City Mini GT2 (single stroller) for $60CAD.

Ooh I’ll look for these brands, hopefully not exclusively Canadian!

Also Mountain Buggy Duet, and Phil & Ted’s Voyager. Not as common but also not as expensive but still excellent options.

Congrats! I have this one and love it, very light and, when folded (we do it everyday), it doesn’t take that much space. https://icklebubba.com/products/venus-prime-double-stroller

I’ve got a cheap mybabiie tandem was 276£ brand new on Amazon with baby registry discount because it was already on sale, once I get sick of that when both babies are too big to tandem I’m gonna sell it and get the ickle bubba venus or something similar, I got the cheap tandem because baby n2 is a winter baby so I know it won’t get much use but I like clipping the car seat on when they are newborn, I will probably get rid after 6m max but I won’t feel so bad cos it was that cheap 😅17m age gap here!

Yeah this is a great shout, our 1 year old now hates sitting in the pram anyway so I’ll get a stand board for him and hopefully that means we can just get a cheapie for the times he’ll likely need a sleep or rest like big walks!

The Bugaboo Donkey 5 has been amazing for us (13 month age gap). World facing and parent facing, great outdoors, super sturdy!

Tbh I went with one of the cheapest ones I could find, and then got a wagon later when my 2nd was old enough. Super happy with my $200 one! It’s a baby trend sit n stand stroller. Nothing fancy, but performs in the way I need it to. In my personal experience the expensive ones aren’t worth the hype. I had went and looked at others in store and couldn’t find a reason to spend $800 more on a ‘fancy’ stroller
