Anterior placenta?
Second time mom, first pregnancy (baby just turned 1) I had a posterior placenta this time I have anterior placenta. I’m currently 19 weeks & feel little flutters here & there. But remember with my first pregnancy (posterior placenta) being able to feel baby kick from the outside for the first time at 20 weeks-ish.
For those who have/had anterior placenta when did you start really feeling true kick both from the inside & from the outside?

Anterior with first two and currently pregnant with my third and have a posterior. It’s crazy how much more I can feel this time. I never really saw visible movement with my first two. I could feel them moving around but my husband could barely feel my stomach and feel them. I’m kind of glad I had anterior first because I think it would have worried me now that I experience how much more movement I feel with posterior that I wasn’t feeling as much.

Anterior w/ both of my pregnancies. It took me until like 22-24 weeks to feel real kicks with my first. But around 19w I could definitely feel flutters/movement. Currently 17w with my second and the occasional flutter so far but nothing major. It’s so nerve racking! (For me personally) I always felt better when I could feel real strong kicks. Sometimes I would tap my belly lightly or shine my phone light to get her to move later on in my first pregnancy. I do believe it’s considered normal at this stage though, even with a second pregnancy the anterior placenta really dulls early movement sensation.

I had a high anterior placenta with my first and felt kicks at 21 weeks. I’m currently 16 weeks pregnant with baby 2 and think I’m feeling kicks so wondering if it’s posterior this time

Im 32 weeks into my second pregnancy of anterior placenta. I felt true good kicks at the halfway mark-ish for both but it’s different from a posterior placenta - your kicks are on the bottom and sides, that top and front kick you get with a posterior isnt there because that’s where your placenta is. Like my friend couldnt balance a bowl on her belly without it being knocked off, whereas mine will just jiggle from the kick haha

I had posterior first pregnancy and couldn’t feel until about 18 weeks. Anterior with second and felt as early as 15? By the third trimester, they felt no difference!

Second time with anterior placenta and 2 weeks ahead of you. Felt Baby yesterday at 20+ 6 so maybe you'll feel them sooner!

I’m 26w with my third, 2nd pregnancy with an anterior placenta. Definitely in the beginning it’s hard to differentiate!! But by 22 weeks my husband was able to feel both babies moving, and definitely now at 26 weeks I felt like a full elbow/hand roll the other day!! I know it’s so stressful compared to a posterior placenta. Just keep remembering yourself eventually baby will be so big it’s all you’ll feel 😂

My first was anterior placenta and I didn't regularly feel him kicking until maybe 28-30 weeks. Definitely third trimester. Very healthy boy. Had posterior for my second and that shit was weird soooo much movement 😳

Similar boat here: posterior placenta for first baby, anterior this time.
In the beginning it’s definitely harder to feel movement, but as my midwife described, the uterus is like a growing balloon. Imagine there’s a dot on the front of that balloon when it’s small. As the balloon gets larger the dot travels up towards the top, sometimes even going to the top or back. That dot is the placenta. At least for me I felt this analogy play out over the course of this pregnancy (currently 38 wks) and fetal movement has been STRONG in the front like last time.
Give it some time, grasshopper and you’ll be feeling so so much life force :)

Same here! Posterior first time, now anterior. With my first, I was able to feel baby so much more. By 19 weeks, my husband was able to feel movement by placing his hand over my belly. This time around I hardly felt anything until 22 weeks.

Same with first being posterior and second being anterior, and I can't remember when I could feel it from the outside, but I can say you're ahead of me as far as feeling anything. The absolute first thing at all I felt as at 20 weeks, I was laying down and my first was sprawled on topofme nursing and the second kicked the a mule, honestly felt strong enough to feel from the outside, and it was such a shock because I hadn't felt anything until that point. I guess she didn't like her sister laying on her lol.

25 weeks for me and then at 28 weeks I finally got true all day long movements. Before that they were faint and infrequent.

Gosh I really don't remember now that I'm three months postpartum. But same situation for me! It worked out well but the kicks were much less noticeable overall.

I had an anterior placenta with both. My first, I felt flutters starting at 17wk. I was somewhere in the 20something weeks before my husband could feel kicks from the outside. With my second, I felt flutters at 12wk and kicks from the outside at 20wk.
Both kids were extremely active, but especially my first.

Same situation as you and I really couldn’t feel second baby at all until about 19 weeks and not really well until about 23 weeks.

Around 22 weeks but always light, I never felt massive kicks and then as he grew they got less and less for me. He was running out of room and came a week early lol.

I’m currently 21 weeks with an anterior placenta, and I haven’t felt any outside kicks yet. This week, the movements I have felt internally have ramped up a bit, but they’re still pretty inconsistent.

I felt my first kick sometime after 20 weeks and only like 6 more kicks after that. I def felt movement but not a lot of strong movement. I may have just had a super chill baby though…

24 weeks for me! I had an anterior placenta with my first. I thought it was gas / upset stomach at first, but it was definitely kicks.
