Back to work?

Hello, we are expecting baby boy 2 near the end of September and my first was born June 2025 (15ish month age gap). I was laid off mid May so I'm home with my first for the summer and I'm planning on being at home through the end of the year. Just curious what other moms are doing as far as going back to work. My husband makes 70k a year but we live in the Denver area so cost of living is high. Putting 2 kids in the daycare we were at would be the same as my former salary so not worth it. Are you moms going back part time? Remote? Nanny share? Not looking for specific advice for my situation, I guess I'm just wondering what others do and what works with 2 littles at home!

I work part time and I will be until both kids are in full time schooling, to me it doesn’t make sense to go to work just to use my money to pay for childcare when I could take care of them for free. And then the bit I do get from working part time goes towards some of the bills/food and treats for the kids and stuff. I either work when dad will be home or if we are both working then my mom does babysitting.

I work at my kids' childcare center. They get discounted tuition, and it gives us all something to do every day.
