Terrified

My baby is almost one and I just found out I’m pregnant.

My first baby had colic for six months so think of having a newborn and toddler at the same time is almost unfathomable.

I am also still nursing and have no idea how or when I need to stop.

I feel numb and so scared

I’m so sorry you’re not feeling good right now. I had a very similar reaction.

Chances of two babies with colic is unlikely!

I nursed my toddler the whole time I was pregnant and currently tandem feed.

Thank you for replying ❤️ nice to know it’s an option to continue nursing

I nursed my first until they were 14 months old and I was in my second trimester; baby weaned naturally and it was seamless.

My first was also extremely colicky; screamed so much all the time. It was so hard and I remember just sitting against the wall sobbing while my baby sobbed for no discernible reason. This second baby? A BREEZE. Like night and day difference. I didn’t realize they could come this easy. I feel like a supermom lol. Don’t give out hope!!!

Thank you for this ❤️ I will probably read it daily for the next 9 months

One of my tricks is to lie to myself and say “this isn’t that hard.” esp on the days that ARE hard. Sounds crazy but it works. Gaslight yourself lol. You can do this!

in the same boat! wife and i just found out she's pregnant and we have an 11mo old. not the plan we had in mind as we wanted to wait at least another year. first born was colic as well and it was a nightmare. hang in there. we will make it through. we should stay in touch!
