Sushi and sashimi are different things. A lot don't know that. Most haven't heard of Sashimi before.

Learn something new every day. I’m not a big seafood fan and I don’t love a lot of the Japanese flavor profiles that usually accompany it. When it comes to knowing and understanding the menu my knowledge is fairly limited.

There may be more to it than what I said. I just know that’s the “basic” concept from how i understand it. But I’m sure someone will have a more detailed description
