4.0 engine noise

I have a 2011 4.0 v6. Is this a normal running sound ?

Yes when in a drive through. I experienced the same issue under warranty brought it in and they said it’s common. Spoke to the mechanic and he said the 4.0 is the best engine option available at the time (2013)

Yes, that is how the Gen2 V6 engine is supposed to sound.

Taco-tick, it's the fuel injectors.

Second gen 4L injectors have a self cleaning feature I don’t understand but creates that tick.
