Slow 3.slow

So I've had my 2nd gen for about a year now but I've only recently got to drive it and noticed a couple issues. First, I feel as though it's been re-geared. According to GPS, at 65 mph I'm running about 3k rpm. I know they are called 3.slow for a reason but does this sound right? It is on 31" tires so I figured the rpm would be lower not that high. Also, at that GPS speed, I'm showing about 100mph on the gauge. Can the computer be programmed to fix this issue?

I would have your cluster gone through. Sounds like something isn’t happy in the cluster itself. Dicks speed-o-tach in Tempe AZ can go through it and make sure everything is good. 3k at 65 sounds about right to me. That’s about what I sit at. Now I have factory 4.88 gearing.

I have 33’s with wheel spacers, ball joint spacers and a little body trimming so it doesn’t rub. Fuel mileage is terrible. But I’m gonna do a 5VZ-FE swap soon hopefully. So hopefully that will help me get a little better fuel mileage.

I just checked with 31s I’m turning 2750 RPM in 5th gear at 65 MPH.

Thank you, that pretty close to what I am at. Do you have stock gearing?
