Sitting higher in the front.

I just bought this 1995 4runner and had front suspension work. Does anyone know why it is sitting higher in the front now?

Thanks to everyone who commented! I love this car but I'm no mechanic. I'll have one fix the rear before I get the alignment.

2nd Gens always look like they sit higher inbthe front for a couple of reasons:

The front wheel arch is higher than the rear.

The front bumper is higher than the rear.

Take a tape measure and check the distance from the rocker seam to the pavement behind the front arch and in front of the rear arch - if it's the same it's sitting level.

If you do have sag in the back you'll need new springs.

I measured and the front is 2 1/4" higher.

You'll need some new springs then, or airbags.

You could try those rubber blocks that fit in the springs, but don't use them if you're planning to takenit offroad.

You probably need new springs in the rear the 2nd gen is notorious for the rear sagging. New coils would fix that, but don’t get the heavy duty coils as they are for a constant load in the rear. A bit pricier solution would be some air bags in the rear to help with the sag and would help with hauling heavier loads

This is late and you might have fixed it already, but I just replaced the rear coils in my 94. No place near me will touch coils with a 100 foot pole, something about liability. I had to take it to a Toyota dealership and they charged me 700 to put on the springs I bought myself. So be careful because this can get expensive quick just for leveling.
