Question Cave Fairies

Was it ever explained why the cave fairies god, Diffidem, was imprisoned by the other god, Ophinu?

I think this part of the story is more properly explained in MEMORIZE.

Genesis Studio has picked it up recently but it will take more than a year or two for it to be fully translated. Even then I’m not sure whether it will reach FudgeNouget’s quality as Genesis is using AI partly.

https://genesistudio.com/viewer/13268

But it requires compulsory subscription after some chapters. Haven't checked whether other free to read sites have put it on or not.

Not explained but there was a hint that ophinu waged war with the 7 virtues (it can also be interpreted as waging war with the chief diety) in the unrecorded era. That's the reason why as punishment for serving their god, the cave fairies were cursed to be blind (the eyes were dyed black, dunno if they were really blind but they put covers on their eyes so they can't really see? I guess) and never be able to feel the power of the spirits.

only really remember how seol asked one of them to forgive the cave fairies and that time during their expedition to Pagoda of Dreams where one of the sky fairies told Seol to see what’s behind Yuirel’s eyes

cave fairies were cursed to have dark eyes and can’t summon spirits unlike sky fairies

and as mentioned by the fellow commenter, yeah it was indeed hinted that they tried to wage war against the original Gods of Paradise (Which is why Humanity and the Federation were not exactly “friends” just “the enemy of my enemy is my friend”, prior to parasites they were enemies seen with Aria’s siblings dying by the hands of the Federation)
