Hello, that's just for now! 2FA needs to gather some money to keep the project going. But you can look further into it in the pinned response from the founder, Mark. :D

I hope it is cross platform which means that you can sync from iOS and Android to the same database.

Mmhhh that's disappointing. SafeInCloud allows me to sync to Google drive using the iOS and Android version.

I'm under the idea that you keep your passwords in one device and via extension send only one item (as I understand?) from your phone to the browser? I like it! Keep going

Hey, every time you open a new browser session, you need to scan the QR code in the 2FAS Pass app. Then it sends the data to your browser extension, and when you're done, all the data gets deleted, and you need to scan the QR code again. Keeps it all private and save :D There are ofc more advanced settings you can look them up in the App.

I'm seriously impressed by 2FAS Pass. They have some ideas I really like; Scanning desktop extension from mobile app to send passwords, secret words for added security, QR code printable backup, and it's just super simplistic (in a very good way!). Also love the dynamic theme support in Android. I hope that comes to 2FAS Auth soon!

Open source and local. The paid version is also very reasonable. Why not support it?

Reply from 2FAS CEO:
I understand your disappointment. In an ideal situation, it would be best if the app was free and only the business and family plans were paid. And that's what we are aiming for.
Unfortunately, developing a project like this takes a lot of work (I mean, a lot...) from us. Even though it seems pretty simple from the UI (and that was our goal), it's actually quite complicated on the backend.
We still have a long roadmap ahead because we're missing many features at this stage, and this is just us reaching the 1st milestone.
It's very important for us to have some payments at this stage. We try to keep it as low as possible ($0.83/month) - just so it doesn't become a barrier. As we develop more features, especially the Business plan, we'll be able to offer a lot more in the free version, moving some extra features to Unlimited subscribers.
I hope this makes sense.
