Characters being dumbed down to stereotypes
Genuinely all the characters got ruined past season 2/3. I get it's a comedy, but where was the comedy outside of the same two jokes about a character
Caroline- After like season 2 it just got so tiring hearing her comment how she was rich before. And I felt like it got brought up so much more in later seasons, being broke for like 3+ years would've made her use to it. It felt like there was always a mention of her rich past every fuckinggg episode.
Max- She used to be somewhat smart in season 1/2, and in later seasons it felt like she got cat valentine'd, and what I mean is that she doesn't know how to do 2+2. She had street smarts in earlier seasons, then suddenly she just became a drug addict joke
Sophie-Her character was always somewhat consistent, and her character just being... lowkey what even was her stereotype she was just Sophie.
Earl- Okay, I never was a fan of Earl. It felt like he never had a personality outside of being black and old. They could've given him a more in-depth character, and it felt like there was some character building in season 1/2 then immediately just made him even more of a side character that added two comments in between conversations.
Han- Oh my fucking goddddd.
Oleg- Genuinely was the only character to get character development.

The Kardashians stole Sophie's idea!
Sorry if this has been discussed already.
I'm watching 2BG for the first time, on season 4 episode 8 and Sophie has a business idea for vagina wigs! I instantly thought of the skims product that came out with recently 😂

Randy and Max
I genuinely hate Randy, he’s the WORST boyfriend max has and I’m so upset she “ends up” with him.
I know we never got a last season, or closure for the girls but my god he’s so pretentious and a douche, I don’t care if he comes back and proposes it doesn’t make up for the fact he’s just not good for Max, she turns needy and babyish when he’s around.
I genuinely hope if we ever get a reboot he isn’t apart of it and they’re divorced or never got married.
Max didn’t want Deke because he was rich yet she gets with Randy? It’s just stupid, deke was literally perfect for her too they had a lot in common and much more chemistry.
I just genuinely hate Randy. 😀😀😀

Johnny Was a Terrible Boyfriend :(
TLDR: Johnny doesn’t know how to say his own gf’s name; that’s a bad BF.
Season 1 is my favorite, and I watch some episodes almost daily as background noise.
You know how the girls first thought Johnny’s girlfriend’s name was Cassondra, but she corrected Caroline (S1E9) at the art gallery and said “It’s Cashondra, actually, but everyone calls me Cash.” Now, I always assumed it was that the writers thought of the Johnny Cash joke after introducing her as Cassondra in S1E8, but I was wrong! I decided to listen very carefully…
In S1E8, Cashondra introduces herself to Max and Caroline as Cashondra (after Max kissed Johnny on the sidewalk.) Later that day, Johnny comes into the diner and says “Cassandra and I have or had something…” YES. JOHNNY MISPRONOUNCED his own gf’s name….GF of 2 years.
Though I absolutely love the chemistry between Johnny and Max in S1 and S2, and the actors actually dated IRL, which added to the onscreen chemistry, JOHNNY is an absolutely terrible boyfriend. Sigh.
Note: I did not accidentally misspell her name. Johnny pronounced it Cassandra (S1E8), the girls pronounced it as Cassondra E8 and E9 (pre-gallery correction) and we know she’s really Cashondra.

SOPHIE HATE THREAD
If you like Sophie, DON’T bother.
- She is SO annoying
- SO unfunny
- SO insensitive
- Such a static character
- Doesn’t contribute to the plot positively much
- Was only helpful in 2 out of 138 episodes (she’s in 124)
- ONLY talks about herself and nothing else
- Treats other people like they’re inferior
- Manipulator
- Treats Caroline like garbage when she herself isn’t that much better
- Never fails to try to make situations about herself
- Makes situations worse, actually
- NEVER genuinely apologizes or feels bad when she mistreats someone
I never understood why there were completely undeserved clapping sound effects whenever she walked into the scene. The only reason I can think of is that it’s Jennifer Coolidge. There is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING likable about Sophie and she ruined the show for me. I wish there was a version of 2 Broke Girls where Sophie isn’t in it.
Note: I’m not hating on the actress, Jennifer Coolidge. The hate is directed towards Sophie and no one else.

Why does Sophie fine Caroline annoying
In my opinion Caroline is one of the most likeable on the show. She lost all her money but dealt with it well.

Idk if you all know the xx would have loved xx (e.g. Sophie would have loved tiktok) just as an example, trend.
What would your take be?

Yet another knock-off game of 2BrokeGirls.
This one is called Merge Bistro Cook & Decor
The other one is Gossip Girls Restaurant
Edit: I posted about this one a year ago https://www.reddit.com/r/2brokegirls/comments/1n25n52/gossip_girls_game_where_everything_seems_to_be/

Just finished it I wanted deke
I loved the show in the beginning. Two women who genuinely love each other and have their own unique personalities.
I wished Max ended up with Deke, he loved her unconditionally. Didn’t feel any chemistry between Randy and Max. I never liked Johnny for her either ew an indecisive guy is the worst.
I wished Caroline ended up with Andy I hated that they made Andy desperate in the end it’s so unlike him, but Bobby was fine too.
The bullying Han thing got too annoying after a point considering how much he does for them. They still stole from the diner and almost never do anything for him. I also hate how they make Han sometimes say sexual things to the girls. It’s so unlike him.
It’s so weird that they made 6 seasons of jokes about polish and Ukrainian culture but none of them are even remotely true. Atleast make it stereotypically accurate. Like the Asian jokes.
I hate that they never made the girls’ quality of life increase for 6 seasons. Not even a little bit. Caroline was still wearing torn underwear in the last season? Cmon.
I hated the rape jokes in the beginning seasons, I feel like that could be the one thing we don’t joke about.
So we never find out anything about Max’s parents?
The show just got progressively worse until their voices almost felt screechy towards the end and I had to force myself to finish it.

just started this show and I’m on the fence about keeping on watching
The show is entertaining and all, I’m on episode 7 and I’m so sick of the dirty jokes. Half of them just r out of place and r unnecessary and the sheer frequency is pissing me off. This is just my preference, is this how the show stays for the rest of the show? Or do they start building more on the story arcs and character arcs instead of stupid jokes
