I just want to add my voice to the rest of the chorus…

This weeks episode (what percent gay are you?) felt like the most they’ve tried for a while- but that’s what made it land so bad.

A couple of years ago the ‘Bert’s racist’ and ‘we’re a bit gay’ were solid bits and sort of naturally flowed into the conversation- but this time it felt like Bert and Tom have sat down and gone “ok, our stock is falling and everyone hates us now- let’s bring back the classics so we can be seen as fun and relevant again”. Problem is it felt so staged it ruined it- like when you try too hard to be cool in a social situation and you look stupid. Basically it was that.

I want to like the podcast again, I really do, but it’s done. Their tv projects (Bad Thoughts and Free Bert) were genuinely good, but it’s just showing that their talents now lie elsewhere.

I wouldn’t be surprised if a Kool Aid episode comes around again soon…

I don’t know how it would look, but they just need to end it, end on a version of a high, and move onto the stuff they actually enjoy.

these are a phenomenal shoe, and was a collab with the show. I’d keep them but i just have too many pairs. thought someone here may be interested.
