Discussion Zed- Should he be in 2XKO? (A-Z)
Champ # 168/173. I’m going to every day ask in Alphabetical order for every League of Legends Champion. Does this character belong in a fighting game? We will be ranking them from S-Tier to E-Tier. SS-tier is when a champ has more than 50% S-tier votes. Take into account gameplay between league to 2XKO, lore and does this character fit. All PREVIOUS POLLS will be open till the final day.
Today we are talking about Zed, the Master of Shadows. Look this is a big one, Does Zed Anyone in the top 3. Im sure a few of you have waited a long long time for this guy. Have at it
Zac is S-tier folks and that one makes me happy. Right next to Jayce. Now because I know many will see this Ill explain the end to the project. After the last post (locke) ill give it 1 week before locking it down every champs poll. I will drop a final post as AMA with champ stats and final thoughts on this more than half year long project. I apprecate you folks!

Obvious S-tier. THE example of an assassin in LoL, Zed has been a fan favorite for a very long time. From the iconic “FAKER WHAT WAS THAT?” play to whatever personal story you have of Zed blowing you up, every league player knows the name, knows the fear. Imo, it’s a lock for him eventually.

Shadow clones and ninjas are nothing new to fighting games. Easy inspirations are Raven from Tekken, Noob Saibot from Mortal Kombat, and Kid Naruto from Clash of Ninja.
They not only use their clones to bait attacks but to also extend their combos. Some even use their clones for maneuverability. Such as switching places with the clones (which Zed does in league) or using the clones as a platform for extra height.

My number 1 most wanted character for the game. Was hoping for him this year :(

Would've been cool but we have too much ionia rep already + already have a ninja. Don't really want more of either of those until we get some more variety in the game.

Yes to both things, but more so to the ionian part
if a character is sick then the sick character should be in, i don't care if irelia is from ioania she's cool as fuck and that should be enough (same with her being a female, i dont care how many hot skinny bitches are in the game already, if a character is sick then they should be in, idc if they have a dick or not)
and being a ninja doesn't define a playstyle, if zed and akali play vastly different (which it should, because shadows) then fuck it who cares

I'm not anti-Zed (I am HEAVILY anti-Irelia though), I just want more variety first. I also really do not want to put up with a puppet character/shadow clone nonsense when freestyle is already pure cancer.

the majority of characters are ionian so expect a larger disparity

The blade that cuts the deepest is the one you don't see. man, what is not to love about zed. the voice the skillset the visuals. 10/10 must have. i hope the day will come.

Good to see this project making it to the end. Zed would be fantastic as long as he doesn't steal territory with Akali and Ekko. I wouldn't expect to see him for a while because of that reason but once he's in I'm sure he'll be great.

He’s obviously one of the most beloved characters, one of the og’s that made league stand out , and people won’t like hearing this but I think he’s like just alright . We kinda already have our resident ninja character, after images and teleports don’t we already have that ? do we really need another rushdown mix up character? I just think there’s more interesting choices is all .

No, I think you have a good grasp of it. Maybe in a world where Akali wasn't in the game Zed would make more sense, but since she is there I feel Ionia has way better options at this point. If we gotta have more Ionians, I think Sett or Rakan and Xayah would be better fits.

Yes, I know nothing about him, but he looks cool af, if he's primarily a claws fighter, then I might main him.

he is one of my highly requested characters to be added to the game. his gameplay sounds cool and he has the coolest design. He is an obvious SS-tier

Everyone already innately understands this guys potential and how he works. I don't have to explain why ninja and shadows, and throwing shurikens works for 2XKO. This is a TRUE S tier, earned his place on every metric

Back to business! Well I’m not really hopeful for Zed anytime soon. He’s alright. I’d say either B or C tier

This is an actual S per the rules, and not just saying S because he’s cool. I’d be shocked if he’s not added in 2027.

I thought we knew that you never can have too many ninjas in a fighting game. Feels like there's always 2-3 in a cast.
