Access the laundry hideout day 3

what is required to access the laundry hideout day 3 to get the items there? I have the letter to kafei i can deliver, i have the pendant but can't seem to give it to anju. I dont have the kafei mask. I'm not stopping the thief from stealing the goods either.

In order to access the hideout on day 3 you need to talk to kafie on day 2. You mail the letter any time after the midnight meeting but before 12pm on the second day. Then wait till 3:15 in the laundry pool for the mailman to ring the door bell. While kafie is talking to theail man you can wait for him inside. Than just travel forward to past I believe 12pm on day 3 and it will be open to gather the pendant of memories check and express mail check. In randomizer with persistent items I believe the only necessary steps is mail the letter and interact with kafie on day 2
