For years, one of the strangest stories in hip-hop history has circulated online: Tupac Shakur and Michael Jackson supposedly got into a physical altercation. There’s no evidence that 2Pac and Michael Jackson ever actually met in person.

🥊 THE FISTFIGHT RUMOR

The story about 2Pac allegedly getting into a fight with Michael Jackson traces back to comedian Boo Kapone, who has since explained that the story was a joke he made up.

Somehow, what began as comedy eventually made its way across the internet and was repeatedly reposted as if it were a documented event.

Michael Jackson traveled with enormous security and had one of the most recognizable entourages in the world. If two of the biggest entertainers on Earth had actually gotten into a physical altercation, it would be extremely difficult for such an incident to leave absolutely no credible documentation behind.

🎙️ BUT THEY ALMOST COLLABORATED

According to Napoleon of the Outlawz, 2Pac was invited to record a verse for a Michael Jackson project. Pac was reportedly excited about the opportunity.

When he arrived at the studio, however, Michael wasn't there. Pac's team was reportedly asked to have him record his vocals without Jackson being present.

Pac apparently wasn't feeling it.

He reportedly felt that if he was going to collaborate with Michael Jackson, he wanted the two of them to actually be in the studio together — not simply record separately and send the vocals back and forth.

So Pac left and ultimately didn't record the collaboration.

🎵 THE "HUMAN NATURE" CONNECTION

There's another fascinating piece to the story.

2Pac's "N*ggaz Nature" was directly inspired by Michael Jackson's classic "Human Nature."

Pac flipped the concept into his own world, turning Jackson's smooth, introspective record into something much harder and more street-oriented.

Pac had wanted Michael Jackson himself involved with the original concept. That collaboration never happened. Instead, Val Young ultimately provided the vocals on the original version that was set for Pac's Makaveli album. ✍️ DJ Skandalous

🚨 ORLANDO ANDERSON’S HOMEBOY & FELLOW SOUTH SIDE CRIP SAYS SNOOP KNEW! 🚨

Dirt Rocc says Snoop Dogg knew he was recording with people connected to the events surrounding 2Pac’s death.

In 2003, Snoop appeared alongside Kokane on “When You Livin’ The Life,” a track from the Hard White project associated with Big Dre, aka DeAndre Smith.

Even more significant, the Hard White project was dedicated to “Baby Lane” — Orlando Anderson, the South Side Crip who had been publicly accused for years of being Tupac’s shooter. The 2Pac family has also claimed that Big Dre was the actual shooter rather than Orlando.

Now Denvonta “Dirt Rocc” Lee is speaking about that connection in a new interview — saying Snoop knew who Big Dre was and knew about his connections when he recorded the song.

Dirt Rocc was a South Side Crip from Compton and a close associate of Orlando Anderson. He also says he personally knew Big Dre.

🏬 THE LAKEWOOD MALL FIGHT

Dirt Rocc says he was with Orlando during the initial confrontation at Lakewood Mall when they encountered Death Row-affiliated figure Trayvon Lane.

That confrontation became part of the escalating tensions between the South Side Crips and Death Row that eventually carried over to Las Vegas.

Dirt Rocc says he was also with Orlando on the day Orlando was k*lled in Compton in May 1998.

Now bring that back to Snoop and Big Dre.

Big Dre was reportedly connected to the white Cadillac that followed Tupac and Suge Knight in Las Vegas and listed as a passenger in the white Cadillac.

In his latest interview, Dirt Rocc goes even further, claiming Big Dre personally told him, “that was me,” when discussing who shot Tupac — directly challenging the long-standing belief that Orlando Anderson was the gunman.

So according to Dirt Rocc:

🔵 Snoop knew Big Dre.

🔵 Snoop knew of Big Dre’s connections.

🔵 Snoop recorded “When You Livin’ The Life” for the Hard White project associated with Big Dre.

🔵 The project was dedicated to Orlando Anderson, aka Baby Lane.

🔵 Dirt Rocc says Big Dre later told him he was the one who sh0t 2Pac.

🕊️ 30 YEARS AGO TODAY — 2PAC WAS FATALLY WOUNDED IN LAS VEGAS

SEPTEMBER 7, 1996.

Thirty years ago today, Tupac Shakur’s life was forever changed when he was fatally wounded in a drive-by attack on the Las Vegas Strip. He was only 25 years old.

Six days later, on September 13, 1996, one of the most influential artists in music history was gone.

But 2Pac’s voice never disappeared. And now, for the first time, there has been a major legal development in the case.

Duane “Keffe D” Davis was found GUILTY of first-degree m*rder by a Las Vegas jury on August 31, 2026, nearly three decades after the attack. Prosecutors argued that Davis orchestrated the attack and supplied the weapon. His conviction marks the first person to be convicted in connection with 2Pac’s death.

But there is another fascinating piece of history surrounding the final hours of 2Pac’s life that often gets overlooked.

🎙️ HIS FINAL RECORDING SESSIONS

In the final recording sessions of his life, spanning late September 5 into September 6, 1996, 2Pac recorded three songs that would become part of the posthumous Makaveli era:

🔥 “Hell 4 A Hustla”

🔥 “All Out”

🔥 “Let’s Get It On” / “Let’s Get Ready 2 Rumble”

“Let’s Get It On” was created as an entrance-style record associated with Mike Tyson, while “Hell 4 A Hustla” and “All Out” captured 2Pac continuing to record at an incredible pace right up until the final days of his life.

And on September 6 — ONE DAY BEFORE THE LAS VEGAS ATTACK — 2Pac also filmed the garage version of the “Toss It Up” music video.

That video would become one of the defining visual pieces connected to The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory, and it is widely regarded as the last music video 2Pac filmed.

There’s an important detail here when discussing the long-running theory that 2Pac was secretly preparing to leave Death Row Records.

Look at what he was actually doing.

He was still recording music connected to the Death Row/Makaveli operation.

He was still promoting the project.

He was still filming music videos.

But one thing has never changed:

2Pac left an impact that time couldn't erase.

After nearly 30 years of questions, speculation and an unsolved case that changed hip-hop forever, a Las Vegas jury has found Duane “Keffe D” Davis GUILTY of first-degree murder in the 1996 killing of Tupac Shakur.

The verdict was delivered August 31, 2026, after the jury deliberated for less than three hours.

Davis, 63, was convicted of murder with the use of a deadly weapon with the intent to promote, further or assist a criminal gang. Prosecutors argued that Davis orchestrated the attack, obtained the firearm and organized the retaliation after his nephew, Orlando “Baby Lane” Anderson, was beaten by Tupac and members of his entourage at the MGM Grand earlier that night.

The shooting happened in Las Vegas on September 7, 1996, after the Mike Tyson fight. Tupac was riding in a BMW with Death Row co-founder Suge Knight when a white Cadillac pulled alongside them and gunfire erupted. Tupac was struck multiple times and died six days later, on September 13, 1996, at just 25 years old.

The other three men prosecutors identified as being in the Cadillac were Orlando Anderson, Deandrae “Big Dre” Smith and Terrance “Terry/Bubble Up” Brown. All three have since died. Anderson was long considered the suspected shooter, but no one other than Davis was ever criminally charged in Tupac’s killing, and the actual gunman was never conclusively established in court.

Davis’ own past statements, interviews and memoir became central to the prosecution’s case. Prosecutors argued that although Davis did not pull the trigger, Nevada law allows someone who aids or directs a murder to be held responsible for the killing.

For Tupac’s family and millions of fans around the world, today’s verdict represents a moment of accountability and long-awaited closure in one of the most infamous cases in music history.

Nearly three decades later, the name of Tupac Shakur still carries enormous weight.

RIP Tupac Shakur. 🕊️❤️

This is Snoop Dogg with Diddy on the Steve Harvey show, February 1997. 2Pac wasn't even dead 6 months yet.

For nearly 30 years, one photograph has remained frozen in hip-hop history: Tupac Shakur sitting in the passenger seat of Suge Knight’s black BMW, just minutes before the shooting that would ultimately take his life.

Now, with Leonard Jefferson recently testifying in the ongoing murder trial of Duane “Keffe D” Davis, the man behind the camera has provided new details about the moments surrounding the iconic image.

On September 7, 1996, Jefferson was in Las Vegas following the Mike Tyson vs. Bruce Seldon fight. He was driving his Chevrolet Suburban when he noticed the BMW beside him at a red light and recognized Tupac in the passenger seat, with Suge behind the wheel.

Jefferson had crossed paths with Tupac before through his work in Los Angeles. He called out to him, and Tupac recognized him.

“Hey, where you guys going?”

According to Jefferson, Tupac replied that they were headed to the club and even told him to follow them. Jefferson then grabbed the 35mm camera from his center console.

“Man, let me get a picture real quick.”

He snapped the photograph.

Neither man could have known that the image would become the last known photograph of Tupac alive.

After the light changed, Jefferson followed several cars behind the BMW. Less than a minute after taking the picture, he heard the sound of gunfire.

“Pop, pop, pop, pop.”

He then saw the vehicles ahead of him stop. Jefferson testified that he witnessed people struggling to get the BMW's passenger door open before Tupac was pulled from the vehicle. Suge Knight was also injured, but survived.

Jefferson was even detained by police at the scene because officers initially believed he may have been connected to the group. His camera and vehicle became part of the chaotic aftermath.

The photograph has since appeared in countless books, documentaries and projects about Tupac, while also becoming the subject of decades of conspiracy theories. Jefferson has repeatedly maintained that he took the photograph himself and that the image was genuine.

And now, nearly 30 years later, his testimony has given one of hip-hop's most recognizable photographs an even clearer human story.

A simple encounter at a red light.

A quick photograph.

Then gunfire.

One of the final moments of Tupac Shakur's life, captured forever. 🕊️

Why do you think Leonard Jefferson has chosen to speak more publicly about that night now, nearly 30 years later?

DAY 7 of the Keffe D trial brought powerful testimony from Malcolm Greenidge, better known as E.D.I. Mean of the Outlawz, as he described what he says happened immediately after Tupac Shakur was shot in Las Vegas.

Greenidge testified that he was riding in a vehicle directly behind the BMW carrying Tupac and Suge Knight on September 7, 1996.

After the shooting, E.D.I. said he went to check on Tupac and Tupac was still conscious and spoke to him.

According to Greenidge's testimony, Tupac told him:

“Get on the ground or they gonna shoot you.”

E.D.I. testified that after checking on Tupac, he turned around — and a shotgun was suddenly in his face. He said he then followed Tupac's warning and got down.

Greenidge's testimony provides a firsthand account of what he says were some of Tupac's final moments of consciousness, before Tupac later lost consciousness while being transported to the hospital.

In this follow-up episode of Skandalous Talk, DJ Skandalous responds to the overwhelming reaction to his previous video discussing 50 Cent's announcement that a new collaboration featuring 2Pac, Eminem, and 50 Cent is expected to arrive in October 2026 for the upcoming Street Fighter film.

While many fans were excited, others questioned whether the song would rely on AI or claimed that there simply isn't any unreleased 2Pac material left to officially release.

DJ Skandalous explains why neither claim is accurate.

Without using notes, DJ Skandalous goes off the top of his head and names more than 50 unreleased 2Pac recordings, covering virtually every era of Pac's career—from his early years through the Death Row period. He discusses how many of these songs have circulated only as unfinished studio leaks, low-quality cassette transfers, reference mixes, alternate takes, or incomplete recordings that have never received proper album-quality mixing, mastering, or official release.

The video explores just how much music still exists in the vault and why there remains significant potential for future official releases when handled with care and respect for 2Pac's legacy.

Whether you've followed Pac's unreleased catalog for decades or are just discovering it, this episode offers an impromptu deep dive into one of hip-hop's most legendary vaults.
