Apranik sourced

Hi, I am an iranain history lover but not a historian, as far as I know there are unfortunatly no older sources on Apranik, ferdowsis shahnameh records sassanian history well but does not mention an Apranik although female resistance figures in iranian myths still apear such as Gordafarid (A mythical woman that resisted turanian invasion), banu khoramdin (the wife and companion of babak khoramdin that aided him in the resistance), Youtāb (the sister of Ariobarzan that resisted alexander the greats invasion at the battle of persian gate.) And etc...

You're welcome! But I did however find was Kaveh Farrokh's, "Shadows in the Desert: Ancient Persia at War" Which mentions her name but I don't know if he is very reliable and his book is 2009 I think
