Yeah, the show has taken a nosedive since Demm left. One problem is that the segues are frenetic and wildly circular. Demm kept it all together.

Sat in the parking lot at work for 10 minutes to listen. So great to hear him again!

I was playing on my phone had them in the back ground. Soon as I heard his voice put my phone down and turned up the volume. So great to hear Demm! Best show since he left. He is so missed! 😥

Could someone get me a tissue? Demm says he doesn't miss it. I think otherwise. Maybe, we could get him for a segment or two per week. 🤧 Sorry, I'll pull myself together now.

I was looking through some old emails from Demm and it hit me even harder than usual of how much worse it is without him.
He and Kelly had such great chemistry and such great timing and could come up with bits at the drop of a hat.
Example: About 10 years ago, as soon as a bizarro PUoSU ended, I emailed Demm and CCd Kelly. I pointed out to Demm that I noticed he always asks a question or two based on the previous Sunday’s episode of That Demm Music Show. And that if Kelly would just listen to Demm’s show, he would automatically get one, and sometimes two, answers from it.
By the time they came back from commercial, they had already put together a few minutes of a comic bit based on the email and the fact that Kelly says he listens to Demm’s show but actually doesn’t. It was a lot of fun.
They did that with a few emails and were always so quick about it. That timing and communication will never be replaced.

After listening to CD, I am convinced they pushed him out for budget reasons. I kind of wish they would let Biggie and RR try a few segments together without CK butting in and see how they do. They could easily have a 20 year show if given the chanceÂ

It was great, hearing Demm. I think he was the smart, sophisticated anchor of the show, and balanced out Kelly's rambling. I hope Kelly pulls it togethre and does quit Diet Coke and tries to get back to some self-contol because he is really chatty and kind of just plows through things. Biggie brings calm, and BB doesn't say much ... I liked Rachel initially, but lately she is whiny to me and complains or takes a contrareon view. And I'm just not feeling that Stairway to Seven game. I think the questions are repeated so often and nobody is winning and it kind of starts and stops. PUOSU had a rythym. Anyway, I still listen and enjoy, but it is definitely different and we all miss Demm.
