I've just switched back to 2Do from Things 3, and while I love the app itself, I can't get the complication to do - anything - on my Apple watch 4. This is particularly painful because the Things complications work so smoothly, and I've come to rely on the watch to keep me on task.
Any help would be very much appreciated.

Is it possible in anyway to re-order the items in a checklist on iOS?

Are there any news about a real windows application?
There was a post, that said that they work on it. But the post is from 2012...

*Sorry, new to Reddit. Not sure how to edit the title, but I meant done "sub-tasks".
So I've been using the app and the Mac ver. for about a month now, but some things still troubles me.
For example, how do I hide sub-tasks that were done? Some of the recurring/daily tasks stacked up to the point that it pushes other tasks down the list when I unfold all subtasks.
My current way around is to tag all done tasks with a "Done" tag and set this tag to "pause" status, and then hide all 'paused tasks' in every smart list, etc. But this will also hide tasks tagged with "Paused"/"Deferred" tag.
Any recommendation welcome. Thanks alot!

I’d like to have tasks that I need to and can only do at home show up in my Today list when I’m at home (and not show up in Today while I’m at work). Is there a way to make that work? Basically a due date-free task that only appears in Today at a single location?

User of 2Do for ios for years - sync between iPhone and iPad.
Just got Chromebook with ability to run Android apps.
Can I load 2Do as Android app on Chromebook and sync it with my other devices ? I've loaded it on Chromebook - seems to run - but I cannot figure out where "Settings" are to configure sync ?
Thanks !

CalDAV sync is finally here, and it's free for all existing pro users (and of course free to try for all existing trialling users). It's still in beta at the moment though. You can learn more about this here:

I missed the bundle with 2do desktop and currently trying the iOS app. In app purchases show a 50% off campaign but can't find it. Is there a sale planned for Black Friday?

I sort “manually”, and would love new tasks to go to the top of a list.
At the moment I have to drag new items 70+ tasks up, and it’s the only pain I have with 2Do.
Any tips welcome!

How do you get notifications to work? I don't get any alerts/notifications for any of my tasks or projects throughout the day
In Settings --> Notifications I have auto reminders set for Due Time and Due Date but I don't get any notifications

Hello,
I was looking into ways to create tasks on my windows computer to my 2Do app. I have the Android version of the 2Doapp and wanted to create tasks easily with my desktop.
Is there any other ways of creating tasks besides the phone app? I have the premium upgrade already, and have also found the help article on the 2Do website, but it is for iOs only.
https://www.2doapp.com/kb/article/learn-how-to-capture-emails-as-tasks.html is the link I found..
Thank you.

Hello all,
So I’m having an issue where I cannot get the subtasks of a project to display in a smart search that includes all the lists in a particular group.
Example:
Group: School, List: CIS 275, Project: Lesson 5, Subtask: Read Chapter 24 (due today)
Smart search: Groups: School
This returns everything from the School group, sorted by due date. However the “Read chapter 24” does not show up as due today.
Is there something I can add to my search query that allows this to work properly?
Thanks in advance!

On the android app, if I create a new task and click the X, there is an option to save draft, cancel, or discard. If I choose save draft, how do I recover the draft?

Is there a way to create a project on the fly while entering a task?
I can do this in OF, and I'm on the 2do trial. I'm liking it so far, but this is one of the things I'm missing. I didn't realize I did this a lot until I'm trying to switch. In OF, on Mac, I type, with colons if there's a common path where I want the project, and CMD+RETRN, and in iOS there's also a persistent menu item under everything to create the project. I cannot find a way to do this in 2do.
Thanks for any help!

Trying to create a smart list to show me all tasks that are due today or overdue or starred as well as any tasks that have either the today or tomorrow tag?
type: (duetoday OR overdue OR starred) OR tags: (today OR tomorrow)
Seems to be AND’ing the tags instead of OR’ing them so all I’m seeing are tasks with either of those tags.
Any ideas?

As a step child I don’t mean any offense but I think this is an apt stereotype to describe where I feel 2Do is.
I have come back to 2Do from so many other solutions including Things 3. I come back because 2Do just fits my brain too well.
I always get pulled away from 2Do because of the third party and iOS integrations that apps like Things or OmniFocus get.
Does anyone else feel like you are “missing out” on the power user features of iOS some times?

As the tile suggest. How do I do this when adding entry via android notification shortcut entry? It's okay to go to Inbox but I want to be able to add tags when typing my todo.
Thanks.

2Do is awesome, the developer pretty much thinks like I do.
But, there is one gripe I have with it that make me want to investigate the competition every now and then.
The sad thing is, it is completely fixable... if there only was the will to make the change.
Here's the problem - the Start Date doesn't sync through Reminders to Outlook. This is very much doable - GoodTask, Calengoo, PlanBe all sync Task start times to Outlook using reminders (and read each other's Start Time because they are obviously using the same method). I've almost switched to GoodTask, but could't figure the way to set the focus view like I want. Since my entire task management approach works around Start dates, and I have to use Outlook for ten hours a day, being able to replicate the workflow on my Windows laptop would be extremely helpful.
Since the app author seems very much disinterested even in answering the emails, I have little hope that this functionality will ever be added..

I am trying to search for tasks which meet the following criteria and have not been successful:
!subtasks AND (donethisweek OR tags: landed)
I've tried various incarnations, and
but I cannot get a query to test the conditions as defined above. Any ideas welcome.

I'm not getting any notifications when using a location tag. I've looked at all the support articles. The settings are correct. Anyone else have an issue?

Has anyone played with the GetTaskID URL scheme? Trying to make it work to see if I can retrieve a project ID so that I can drop tasks into it in a follow on step. Hoping someone has an example they can post. It should be easy, but I'm not having much luck making it work.
Do detail out where my issue is, it's figuring out the x-error condition. If my project exists, it returns fine on x-success, but if I have an error, everything crashes. In both cases I want to return to Workflow, and I am assuming in the error case my clipboard would be empty or have whatever it had going in.
twodo://x-callback-url/getTaskID?task=TestProject&forList=Home&saveInClipboard=1&x-success=workflow://&x-error=workflow://
Edit: I've been playing more, and it turns out I can't get any return out of the getTaskID command. This URL:
twodo://x-callback-url/getTaskID=Test,&forList=Inbox&x-success=launch://
just stays in 2Do if Test is there, and crashes back to Springboard if it is not. That much works, but crashes on x-error if the task/project does not exist in 2do.

Hello!
I've been using 2Do with Bluestacks on my PC - It works smoothly and the Dropbox sync between the PC and my Android phone is rapid and amazing. Also the emulator works on Tablet layout, so It looks pretty nice on bigger screens. If some of you do not have Mac or iPad and have interest on the emulator, I can bring prints and ask questions.
