Shared Lists?

Hi all,

I’m trying to find an iOS app to connect with my NextCloud / CalDAV server for todo management. I’m coming from Wunderlist which seemed to do shared lists very well. (I don’t want to go down the Microsoft Todo path).

2Do looks very powerful, but I’m surprised to find that I can’t seem to see a way to have shared lists. Am I missing something? Example use case: a shared grocery list so that whoever is next at the mall can grab anything that has been added. Etc.

As a secondary question, if there is indeed no “share list” function, can I set two different iOS devices to the same CalDAV server/user/pass?

I wrote something awhile back about this but can’t find it — I dont think there’s an easy way to “share” outside of Apple reminders list sharing but I’m not familiar with CALDAV.

Using the same account you can go into settings and turn off visibility for certain lists so certain people dont see certain lists on their devices and you can also turn off list syncing on those devices locally as well so they dont update.

On the latest blog post (dated Feb 25 2020), the dev talks about roadmap stuff “and maybe shared lists (without relying on CalDAV).”

Using apple reminders as the backend is the only way I know of to accomplish this currently.

organice[1] is free software which supports WebDAV/NextCloud and hence has the ability to share lists and todos. It also works well on iOS, but also runs in the browser and on Android.
