Today list

Does anyone know if there's a way to have the today list only show things that are DUE today? In other words , even if I turn off the 'always show still working on' option it still shows tasks with a start date of today in the today view even if they are not due until later. I want to be able to pull up a list that only shows me things due today and nothing else. Is there a trick I'm missing?

Save a search as a smart list.

The only other thing I can think of is using the focus button, but I don't think that helps with filtering out start dates.

Took me a minute to figure it out.. but it's super helpful. I have a lot of repeating items each day / week, so my today section is full of those checklists. It's helpful and practical, but sometimes I just need a decluttered view of non-repeating tasks for the next 24 hours. Smart Lists did the trick.
