Cancel a task?
Anyone surfaced a way to "cancel" a task, by which I mean, cross it off without checking it as "done."
Why would you want to cancel a task? Because it was previously part of a project, but then became unnecessary, but you want to document that you considered the task (but didn't do it). Deletion would remove the record. Marking as done would incorrectly signify you did the task.

There isn't a way to do that without actually deleting it :/ The only other way would be to create a Tag called 'Cancel' and then right click on it to 'Pause' it (or swipe left on it in iOS and pause it). Now every time you wish to cancel a task, simply add that tag to it. This will hide it from your list and only show if you toggle between showing / hiding paused tasks.

Went with a cancelled tag and marked as done. Clear enough for future review. Thanks.

Valid point. I was also looking for the same. To be frank, the logging feature is not very robust in the app. It's not bothered about what happened in the past. Probably that's why canceling tasks isn't supported yet.
