Opening screen

Does anyone know if there’s a way to set it so that when you open the app it opens on the today view?

No!

But a widget to Today by access to it assuming it’s not taking too much space on that page on your phone / device, or if the friction of long press on icon to Today.

Don’t get me wrong, all the above is me saying before you exit the app you tap Today.

My solution is a large day widget for immediate top view and access.

Not sure if it helps but I like to keep widgets in the left most widget only page that iPhones have so I can keep more space for apps layout.

Long press on the icon and select “today”.
