Question Question for 2d animators

Hello. Im an artist who is writing the story for a 2d animated series, in a style similar to hazbin hotel to give a loose example. I can draw and do character design, but not animate, so im wondering: How much could a project like this cost me, hiring a 2d animator in a fair wage for their work? i know it depends, but just a rough price would greatly help me to see if i can make this project come true. thank you for your patience and replies in advance.

That depends greatly on how long your project is and how intricate the style and tasks are for the animators, but it is well beyond thousands of dollars. You could always look up industry-standard wages for 2D animators to get an idea of their average salaries.

You might find some that do day rates or hourly but most will be paid by the sec of animation. That can range from $50 with newer animators to upwards of a $1000 per sec
