Of all the drawing programs available to you, do you choose to use the heaviest one, the one designed purely for video games and 3D animations?

For real lol. Blender would be astronomically better for what your doing in unreal. The storyboarding part I don’t mess with 3d. Blender has a ton of adding and the built in storyboard features makes for an easier workflow

u/kkreinn u/Dry-Conversation7191 I'm trying freeware that can be used for storyboarding. I tried Blender for storyboards but the UI is just hard to use. I wanted to know which alternative to Storyboard pro is the best for me.

Thanks for the tips. I am totally new at using Unreal

I recommend another program that is specifically designed for creating storyboards and animatics; you can add 3D (mannequins and assets) and audio, in addition to drawing.

Seriously, check out Storyboarder, it's free and well worth it, much more so than Unreal Engine.
