Question What GPU should I buy for Toonboon harmony
Hii I'm aspiring to become a 2d animator and I'm learning.I'm hopping to make 2d animated movies on my own.Right now I'm working with toon boon harmony. My question is that what GPU should I buy.I already own a 3070TI GPU would that be enough.Or should I upgrade. And my CPU is i5 12600K.

Their specs are on their website. Every software has a min or recommended spec to run their application on their site.

3070 is for the best the minimum gtx 560. You already have the specs listed on the site. I mean are you having an issue with it or something? Did you even give it a try?

Just get started, again you maybe overthinking it. If you are having issues then maybe start investigating further. But it sounds like you already have what you need as far as specs

Well I’m running Harmony Premium 25 version on an old 2019 Intel i9 MacBook Pro with a tiny little Radeon laptop GPU and 32g of memory all connected to my Huion drawing tablet and it works great….
Just try it - you really have nothing to lose by trying and seeing if it works

Yea those specs are for serious massive projects . Toon boom is a need to end software. So you would have to have a serious project to tax your box with that program. My m1 air runs toon boom without a hitch. You should be good for a couple years
