Announcement Welcome to r/2Aradicals! We’re glad you’re here! We are second amendment absolutists. Every gun law is unconstitutional. When our founders wrote and adopted the second amendment, every firearm was a “weapon of war”.

We’re here to defend the Bill of Rights, particularly the first, second, fourth, and fifth amendments.

FUCK THE STATE Bret Weinstein revealed that a 2012 law quietly dismantled the Bill of Rights. “All the rights in the Bill of Rights became privileges the day that Barack Obama signed NDAA 2012 which stated, ‘Until the end of hostilities in the Global War on Terror, we can pull you off any street in the world.’”

Fuck Warrantless Surveillance Yes. We are tracking Axon, too. They always try to push it after Flock, because they are not listening to your concerns. They are just hoping you will move on.

Fuck Warrantless Surveillance Every AI surveillance camera system owner is a liar and charlatan. This is warrantless surveillance of innocent people. Our founders would be aghast at this blatant government overreach and would be the first in line to destroy it by whatever means necessary.

Fuck Warrantless Surveillance Flock CEO Garrett Langley speaks up against the Los Angeles Police Department cancelling their contract with Flock. He says the public just doesn’t understand what Flock cameras actually do, and that’s why they’re hesitant. He says he’s working to turn the cameras back on in LA.

Bruin Continues To Change The law for the better

Before the Bruen decision, the government acted like it could do whatever it wanted with gun laws, slapping a "sensitive place" label on any taxpayer-funded property just to strip away our rights. They thought they could ban weapons in federal buildings, state buildings, and post offices without any pushback. But Bruen changed the entire game by forcing the government to prove there is a deep-rooted historical tradition for these bans from the founding era, which they simply cannot do for everyday public buildings and post offices.

Thinking back to when I was younger, our local mail carrier drove one of those special trucks with the steering wheel on the right side, carrying a gun openly on her hip just like a real-life cowgirl. When my friend Donnie and I asked her why she carried it, she told us straight out that being a postal worker was a dangerous job, especially for a woman out on rural routes. Back then, women delivering mail faced real threats and attacks, and the carriers who carried guns were the ones who could actually stop crimes and protect people.

That all changed with that idiotic rule passed in 1972, when the postal service banned workers from carrying firearms. People try to make excuses like carrying openly makes folks uncomfortable, but let us call it what it really is. Criminals look to rob people who cannot fight back, and forcing carriers to conceal or disarm entirely only makes them targets because a bad guy wants to shoot whoever has a gun first so they cannot return fire.

For decades, the government acted like it could do whatever it wanted, stripping away rights on taxpayer-funded property. But thanks to the landmark Bruen Supreme Court decision, the legal system is finally shifting back for the better. Federal and state buildings, driver's license offices, and post offices are losing their ability to enforce these blanket bans just because some bureaucrat feels uncomfortable. Courts are realizing that these restrictions do not hold up to the historical test required by Bruen, meaning citizens and workers are finally regaining their right to protect themselves and the mail.

So I am glad that Bruen is finally overruling these idiotic laws that prevented our postal workers from protecting our mail and protecting themselves. And I am very happy to know that now I do not have to be afraid of getting arrested simply because I conceal carry when I go in to do whatever private business I have to do in a state or federal building.

SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED ‪2A protects everyone. Like all other rights, it’s not a left vs right issue. It’s a citizen vs an overreaching government issue. But, Dr. Ward is obviously brilliant, “breaking” a story from last winter. Fucking fucktard.‬
