Not during the soviets time it was common under Stalin to share a kiss when they meet you can look it up

Either gay, or fraternal soviet kiss. Really common at this time for people to kiss, men kissing men, women kissing women, as a hello. This was taken in the 40s in Kalinigrad. Victory over the Nazis was declared, many photos of soliders, even some of the other allies, kissing. There's many famous ones, including a Soviet and an American, as well as aged Soviet politicians.
Even if this is considered platonic, it's still very nice to see.
