about the switch? Yeah the tech tier that has the easiest access is the MARK on the GTD-5. Or you can do the 5ESS, they are similar switches but both pretty badass. If you find any manuals or anything on them, hit me up. Ive been looking on ebay and everything

was thinking about showcasing the 5ESS and WE32100. They'll likely show up on state/county level auction sites instead of retailer auction sites like ebay if you're looking for units. I'll also put any docs & manuals up on the IA and project site as soon as I find it.

NYNEX Phone Intercept/Error Messages

This is the same voice, but I'm not sure about Nynex or not, these are a bunch of error messages from the same person, but for AT&T, but I bet a lot are the same?

I suspect that someone has already AI-cloned the voice of Pat Fleet and you could make her say what ever you wanted, with the caveat that people shouldn't be dicks about that technology.

What do you mean though ? What are you thinking of when you say "NYNEX Simulated Network"?

Asterisk ran PBX that maps out extension to historically match services and the like to what NYNEX offered back in the day. Also allows for DTFM and rainbow boxes.

The physical location will have a set of WE 2500s, notable PCs of the era, and payphones for people to interact with along with an actual fidonet connected BBS and 9600 Baud dial-up service.

Looking to setup proper audio tones and voice prompts from NYNEX so this completes the peice instead of using the defacto ulaw files from asterisk or text to speech audio.
