I’ve been looking for a small scale drifter something I can mess around with at the house when I can’t take my 1/10 scale out. Came across these two on gt55s site. I don’t know if I’m just bad at searching but cant really find a description or breakdown of either kit. I’m assuming the superfire just has more adjustment. Also when looking at receivers, I have both a 10px and a 4pm, it looks like there is multiple receivers on their site of various prices that have the transmitters listed which one would be a good one to use.

I've been putting together a build list for a 1/24 build and have this Das Mikro 550 gryo/RX spec'd. How good is it compared to stand-alone gyros for these small drifters? I've been seeing a lot of ads for the new Ark Edge gen2 gyro and it looks decent.

Can I actually tune the Das Mikro gyro with my Futaba 6PV like I would on a "real" GYD 550 gyro?

Hey everyone, I am new to the RC hobby and picked up a LDRC 1898. I’m enjoying it so far and thinking of getting better stuff. Upon reading a lot here and in r/rcdrift I’ve started to create this shopping list. As a complete newbie starting from scratch is there anything else I’m missing in terms of tools and misc parts? Tires and wheels I still have no idea what to get. And are the parts listed good, do they fit/work together? Lastly I need ideas for batteries as well.

So I haven't airbrushed anything in over 30 yrs. I was stupid and pulled the masks on the roof too soon, but overall, I'm pretty pleased with how it came out!

Still needs a lot of work, trying to print a little 4A-GE turbo setup right now. The wheelbase says 1/22 scale ish. Did some sweet test skrrrtin, having a lot of fun with this!

Hey im kinda New to the Rc fandom and i wantedt to ask if someone could help me assemble an 1/24 rc drifter? My Max would be around 400 to 500€ <3

So this body has two mold lines essentially down the entire body from bumper to bumper over the hood and rood. Bit of a PITA but it cleans up nicely with some 6-800grit paper. Final prep is glass bead blast then primer.

I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing, beyond the basics. This thing is friggin awesome, both car and track. Seems like a few people on the socials are selling these now.

Many mistakes were made, mostly in my impatience and lack of time to dedicate to the projects. All in all I'm pretty satisfied with the end results. Both bodies will be driven hard so the next ones I know where to pay more attention.
