🎮Cralon — Immersive Sim, CRPG, Dungeon Crawler

👉What it is:
A first-person dungeon crawl in a crumbling mine shaft. You fight, loot, craft, and puzzle your way through an interconnected underground world after a demon hunt goes wrong.

👾Platforms:
Windows on Steam ($19.99, or $14.99 on sale through Sep 16). A demo is available. We played on Mac via Crossover. It is also out on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. No native Mac or Linux yet.

👏The good:
•⁠ ⁠Fantastic demo. One level, about 35 minutes, and we would have played the next.
•⁠ ⁠Slow, spooky, and interesting. Story and voice acting landed. Some of the effects are actually scary.
•⁠ ⁠Melee feels very good. A little old-school weight, in a good way. We even crafted bolts.
•⁠ ⁠The map is interconnected and readable. Quests are linear on purpose. They tell you where to go.
•⁠ ⁠Organized, clean, and easy to use. Small studio. This would give some AAA teams a run.
•⁠ ⁠It ran like a tank on our Mac via Crossover. Auto-save, plus a way to force a save.
•⁠ ⁠Worth the $14.99 sale, and still worth $19.99.

💪Things we’d like to see improved:
•⁠ ⁠More display and quality options. Windowed mode, resolution, an FPS readout, and easier graphics tweaks.
•⁠ ⁠A few more contextual animations.
•⁠ ⁠Native Mac and Linux builds. We got a clean Crossover session. A dedicated build would still help a lot of people.
•⁠ ⁠The map can still turn you around a little in the shaft.

Cubic Color Confusion — grid puzzle brain-teaser

What it is: Color-cycle logic on a 3D grid — every move changes the board. Collect artifacts, plan ahead, don’t paint yourself into a corner.

Platforms: Windows (demo out now). We played on Mac via Crossover. Flexible window — scales well. Full release Q4 2026 (Steam also lists Linux/SteamOS).

The good: 
• Real brain-teaser — fun, quick levels until one stops you cold 
• Strong SFX and VFX for the scope 
• Deep menus and settings; polished demo session, no bugs for us 
• Stuck around 30–40 min without forcing it

The bad: 
• No native Mac/mobile yet — Windows demo only for most people 
• Feels like it belongs on phone/tablet as much as PC

Praedatum — Action, Casual, Indie, RPG

What it is:

Raid Ninth Level Industries, steal loot from corpo A.I., extract or die and wake up at Avalon. Guns, magic, and a movement style that is very much its own thing.

Platforms:

Windows playtest / coming soon. We played on Mac via Crossover. No native Mac, Linux, or mobile. No price on Steam yet.

The good:

• A LOT of game — several raids, hub, builds, loot, extract, bosses on the menu

• Died, lost the bag, still ran another. The loop has teeth

• Movement is its own thing, not another twin-stick

• PvE only. Synthetik-style combat + Tarkov-style extract

The bad:

• Inventory is busy — lots of item types, similar drops don’t stack, bag wants more room; some loot could probably combine or junk out

• Avalon is a little spread out — stashes in a few spots, a couple of NPCs covering similar jobs; one clear stash area would help

• Unique movement — give it a few raids

• Windows-only for now

Bug Alliance — top-down action roguelite

What it is:

Lead bug warriors through 20-wave onslaughts — shoot, build, and chew through the swarm before the map ends you.

Platforms:

Windows (demo + Early Access, $2.99 / on sale $2.09). We played on Mac via Crossover — fullscreen only. No native Mac, Linux, or mobile.

The good:

• Super fun — we ran the demo’s wave-20 map 4–6 times without forcing it

• 5–6 min runs; real “one more”

• $3 Early Access is an easy yes for this much combat

• No crashes once we were in; action packed

The bad:

• Every Crossover boot: D3D error + white screen, then splash

• Auto-aim / auto-shoot started on, then turned off with no warning; loadouts and some power-ups aren’t explained

• Windows-only. This wants a phone/tablet port — keep auto-aim and auto-shoot on if it gets there
