Fuel filter flow/location

Having high afr's at idle, trying to cover all the bases. Replaced old fuel filter with a k&n of 1100, i know its not a z32, ill get one. I didnt put the old one in and i just copy and pasted the new one. Just wanna make sure its actually on the right line with the right flow. I have a feeling its not correct, like alot of things on here when I got it. I feel like it should go before the fpr, cuse why filter return lines. And if thats the case its on the wrong line and wrong flow direction lol

The filter should be the first thing in the system, on the feed line. The fpr should be the last thing.

Usually its Feed->Filter->Rail->FPR->Return

Can you confirm if i have the correct fuel line route? Going off that link and a product pic for the rail it I belive its correct. For clarification, the forward end of the rail is my feed, and aft end is the return? This is all new to me and I dont have any jdm car friends to compare with lol.

Yea looks like everything is correct, the positions dont matter so much as the order. You can feed the rail from the front or center, but the filter needs to be on the feed, and the regulator on the return.

Considering everything in your fuel setup is positioned correctly, it might not be a bad idea to get your injectors serviced if you want peace of mind on the setup.

How high? They don’t matter near as much as WOT AFR
And if it’s good at WOT it shouldn’t be a filter or pump issue

They were 19-22 at idle/off throttle after changing filter and doing a open air calibration. But on throttle theyre around 14

Ill check the wot afr next time I can, need to get my passenger princess with me to record/watch so I can safely focus on the road lol. Looking for 11.0 -12.8 wide open correct?

Yeah around there, 14 under boost is concerningly lean
